Epilogue

Hate speech and stereotypes are all over the Internet, and it is massively present in video games. Talking about the issue is necessary in order to critically understand the nature of these behaviours and messages, that are never only innocent jokes, that are never only online, that are never.

Any words of hate always have a reflection in someone else’s life.

The story of Xanplays and Nick21 did not happen in reality but it drew inspiration directly from similar happenings; it was written and developed within the frame of the European project Play Your Role, funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020).

If you were in Xan and Nick’s shoes what would you have done differently?

Did you ever witness this sort of happening? What did you do?

How did you feel?

  1. this game is very unique and you really need to think about all the answers, but everything was very fun and exiting.

  2. I loved this game, it was very fun to play. I think this game can be played at school because of bullying, because the game requires teamwork to win and so can bring people together and maybe so make new friends.

  3. I loved the presenting idea expressed from a game! Nice story, well written, the epilogue went very well.
